We provide financial support, to cover education-related expenses, as well as grants for secondary and tertiary students to help them continue their studies. Education-related expenses can include but are not limited to:

• School uniforms
• Bags, stationery, and other school supplies
• Transport costs to and from school
• Fees and expenses related to camps, excursions, and school functions

We currently offer two education grants:

• The Secondary Scholarship Fund
• The Jim Eilenberg Carry On (Victoria) Memorial Tertiary Education Grant

The Secondary Scholarship Fund helps cover the cost of secondary education for the children of Ex-Servicemen and Women. It was established as a separate fund in response to the increasing financial pressures placed on families during their children's secondary school years. Since its establishment, more than 1 million dollars has been granted as part of the scholarship program. Applications for the Secondary Scholarship Fund can be submitted by parents or guardians (on behalf of their child) who were former members of the Australian Defence Force or Allied Forces.

The Jim Eilenberg Carry On (Victoria) Memorial Tertiary Education Grant provides financial assistance to children of Ex-Servicemen and Women to help them complete their tertiary studies. This grant was established in the name of Jim Eilenberg, in recognition of his passion to ensure young Australians had every opportunity to fulfill their dreams. Since its establishment, more than 1 million dollars has been granted as part of the scholarship program. Applications for this grant can be submitted by parents or guardians (on behalf of their child) who were former members of the Australian Defence Force or Allied Forces.

Providing this kind of support not only expands the educational opportunities of the recipients, it also alleviates the anxiety and potential for financial hardship for our Ex-Servicemen and Women and their families.

We also assist with expenses associated with Primary school education. Applications for this would need to be made via a Welfare application process.
