Why Donate

Carry On (Victoria) is a registered charity and as such our work is fuelled, yet also limited by the donations we receive from the broader community. Donations from everyday Australians enable us to continue to make a difference in the lives of Victorian Ex- Servicemen and Women, and their families.

How Your Donation Helps

Our mission of ‘Lest We Forget the Living’ inspires us to not only remember those who fell, but to honour those who returned home, and provide them with whatever support they need. Many who have served our country with distinction find it difficult to obtain support through government, or other welfare options. We provide subsidised housing, support during personal or financial hardship, and education grants as well as maintaining a voice of advocacy for those who have fallen silent. Your donation enables us to help Ex-Servicemen and Women, build full and enriching lives for themselves, their families and future generations of veterans in our community.

How to Donate

The most effective way to help is through making a cash donation. Around 80% of your donation will benefit our clients, (and as is standard for an Australian charity), the remainder funds the administration of our work. You can make a once-off donation, or set up regular donations on a periodic or annual basis. All donations are tax-deductible and will be utilised within our budget to help, wherever the need is greatest for our clients. You can also specify the purpose of your donation – simply contact us to discuss what you have in mind.
