Clive Usher

Clive Usher joined Carry On (Victoria) as Member of the Dandenong Branch in 2009.

In 2011 he was appointed as Branch leader of Dandenong Branch for two years. Clive left the Dandenong Branch in 2013 and moved to his new house in Rochester.

In late 2013 he joined the Bendigo Branch of Carry On and in 2014 became Branch Leader of Bendigo and still serves as Branch Leader of Bendigo today. As Branch Leader Clive manages the 12 CoV units which are located at Kangaroo Flat.

In 2015, Clive was invited to be a Director on the Board of Management. In May 2018 Clive was elected to be President of Carry On.

Clive’s working career included 2 years as a National Serviceman which included 12 months on operational service in Vietnam. Before and after his National Service Clive worked for Australia Post for 37 years and during this time served as an Active Reservist for 28 years.

On leaving Australia Post Clive worked in IT with Amalgamated Wireless Australia (AWA). Clive retired in 2009 to enjoy his penchant for travel which has taken him to numerous places around the world, particularly Vietnam which he has a passion for and relates his experiences to all in anticipation his passion will encourage others to take a similar journey.

Clive is married with 4 children and has 4 grandchildren and in his spare time plays lawn bowls and ensures that Veterans in his charge are cared for adequately.
